Microsoft’s Office Business Platform Group led the acquisition, and initial plans call for integration within Microsoft’s BI and PM product areas—Stratature’s definite sweet spot. The company is not yet ready to disclose when the new acquisition will be rebranded as part of the Microsoft architecture. Dimensional MDM is the province of a few market participants. Hyperion acquired Razza two years ago for dimension management within its environment, and Kalido offers a product as part of its data management suite.
